Latest Additions
New ICAR Resource Guide: Mapping refugee and migrant populations in the UK. Written by Gabriela Quevedo, this guide is based on a resource developed for the one day advanced course ‘Conducting Community Research' held by the Evelyn Oldfield Unit in July 2010
- ICAR has published two guides in our new series on asylum and refugee populations in the UK. Written by ICAR interns, the guides are a succinct introduction to Zimbabweans and Afghans in the UK.
- The Home Office has released the 2009 Control of Immigration Statistics including asylum data. See our statistics section for more on this and related resources.
- Our new Country of Origin resource page lists national and international sources of information about the current situation in refugees' home countries.
- Forced Migration Review 35 is a special issue on Disability and Displacement and features an article written by ICAR and based on our research: 'Failing Londons Disabled Refugees' by Neil Amas and Jacob Lagnado.
